In calculating the amount of material needed, please use the following equation. If you have any questions please contact us to help with your calculation. • Area (Length times the width in feet) X .003 will give you the amount of cubic yards to cover your area at 1 inch in depth. Multiply the cubic yards times inches in depth that is needed. That will give you the total yards necessary to complete your project. We sell All material by the “WHOLE” cubic yard. Please round up. Available materials are as follows: • ½ in.Gray Rock - Primarily used for ground cover • ¾ in. Gray Rock - Primarily used for ground cover • ½ in Brown Rock - Primarily used for ground cover. • ¾ in. Brown Rock - Primarily used for ground cover. • Gold Decomposed Granite.(D.G.) - Landscaping Projects • Fill Dirt - Primarily used for various types of construction projects. • Top Soil - Primarily used for gardenening purposes. • Large Rip Rap/Boulders - Primarily used for Landscape projects • Rip Rap Rock - Primarily used for erosion control.
